Hey mommy!!

Things have been a LOT better this week!!! I have definitely felt your blessings. Things have been very hard, but are also so awesome! The language is coming so smoothly lately. I love how much I can understand. I gave another talk this Sunday and talked for 20 minutes. Last time I talked I read 9 scriptures. :P This time I only read 2, and talked the entire time. My Spanish is so much better now! The ladies there said they were baffled that I could speak so much Spanish for only living in Mexico for 2 months. I feel very blessed right now and I can feel all of your blessings! :)

I am growing a ton, especially spiritually. I have a testimony of so many amazing things.

So the cutest thing happened to me the other day. A little down syndrome boy came up to me, shook my hand, and kissed my cheek! I thought it was so adorable, I thought it was super cute that he did that. :) They have the purest hearts out of anyone on the earth.

We also had 2 more baptisms this week! As soon as I am done with this I will send you the pictures :) So this week has been really good. I had an interview with President. He said that I speak very fluently, and my accent is perfect, and he is baffled that it is perfect because I have a gringo as my trainer. (Most new missionaries get a Mexican companion.) That is the funny part.

Another thing, yes I did get my package! Finally! That was a blessing and a half! I can finally listen to all the music. The songs you put on there are awesome! I love the music! :) Thanks a ton for that!! I definitely feel much more comfortable speaking Spanish.

I can’t understand all of it, but I’m getting there. I am almost done with my training! I have 2 more weeks, and they told me I am probably going to train right when I get out of my training! That would be super cool. Guess we’ll see. I would love to train a Spanish kid! That would really help my language a ton!

Hey mommy!

Things have been great down here! I can’t believe how fast it is going. We had a baptism yesterday, but only one. But we will have the family of 3 very soon. We had to wait longer, because she is addicted to smoking. That has been a problem this last week. But she is working VERY hard to change and has been successful. So soon we will have the other 3! :) The baptism’s name was Jaime! He is an incredible man. I am SO happy that he got baptized. It was the greatest feeling ever. He was definitely a chosen person from God.

I finally got my guitar! I've missed playing it!

This guy makes scripture cases of whatever you want, and I want to buy 4. They are 120 pesos each. That is 10 dollars. I can do it throughout the whole 2 years so it’s fine. I want 2 for me, one for Jace, for his mission, and one for Austin. He will put whatever I want on them. I am so excited and I really think Jace and Austin will LOVE one!! :)

Well that’s about it. I love you tons and tons mama!! It has almost been 4 months. I can’t believe that! I love you :)

Hey mommy!

Yeah things down here have been really great! We have a baptism of 3 people this coming Sunday! One of our ladies has a problem with smoking she JUST told us about so we have to help her before she can be baptized. But this Sunday!! Also, we have an American down here that we’re teaching. He is 6 foot 8 and he plays basketball professionally down here! That is so cool!!! I am going to send you a picture someone took of him playing. He is shooting the foul shot.

Things have been awesome down here. MARK AND ASHLEE ARE ENGAGED?!?! YAY!!!!!!!!!!! That makes me so happy! I am so happy for both of them! :) Now you can stay friends with Ashlee forever! :P She is so nice!!

Thanks for the pictures I got them both! And no, I haven’t gotten the package yet because we don’t have meetings that often, but we have one tomorrow and I think I am going to get it then! Thanks again for that;) Try to send me packages as much as you can please! :) I finally feel comfortable talking to people in Spanish now, and its great! Finally!! But I still have so much to learn. I love and miss you so much, and write me back soon!!!!! I love you mommy :)

Hey mommy!

Time to teach!

It sounds like things have been way busy for you! Things have been really slow for us this week, but we still have those baptisms and they are all excited for it. I love this. I am learning Spanish, I have lost around 15 pounds, and I am learning Spanish! Not only that, I am bringing souls to Heavenly Father! It doesn’t get much better than that!

English teaching class!!

I forgot to say I have been teaching English classes this whole time I have been here! Some of the other Elders don’t like teaching, but I LOVE it.

So I have been teaching them :) I LOVE the spicy food. I can eat spicier than more than half the Mexicans here. I had a pepper-eating contest with a kid, and I won at 15 jalapeños! :P

I have also drank a LOT of tap water without knowing because one of the ladies feeds it to us. But NOTHING has happened to me. :) Que suerte! Well other than this, nothing has happened. I love you tons mommy! I will see you later! :)
